A group of students are now leaders.
Bochurim learning in the central Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch Yeshiva at 770 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights were tested one last time on Tuesday on the Code of Jewish Law.
Testing them was the Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Zalman Labkowsky who has also been teaching them the laws of milk and meat, Shabbos and other subjects this past year.
Following the test which took place in the small ‘zal’ upstairs of 770, Rabbi Labkowsky has signed and handed each one a rabbinical ordination certificate.
To celebrate the occasion, a modest farbrengen took place with the Mashpia Rabbi Shlomo Zarchi and Rabbi Yekusiel Rapp.
They praised the bochurim, some of them Israelis in New York for their ‘kevutza’ years, for their dedication to fulfill the instruction of the Rebbe to have smicha before getting married.
Who are the Kanim for Chassidus and Nigleh this year?
Please post their pictures too!

Many Israelis also speak English. Just wondering if you guys are a bit prejudice towards Israeli bochurim.
as a matter of fact, they are ALL English speaking boys!
FYI on a side note they’re not all Israelis, there’s a few English speaking boys in there too.
