What began as a typical trip by an Israeli soldier to the Far East, spiraled into a decade-long journey through half the globe in search of meaning. His search brings him into monasteries deep in the Himalayas, exploring the leading Eastern religions of Buddhism and Hinduism.
Living an idyllic life in a secluded island off Thailand, he could not silence the call of his neshama. A journey heavily laced with Hashgacha Pratis, Eyal Karoutchi gives a dramatic rendition of his life quest for truth and happiness.
Since 2006 Eyal has been on the staff of Ascent in Tzefas, where he is a tour guide and lives with his Jewish wife and 4 children.
