The “Mitzvah Tank” of Rabbi Yehuda Pevzner which operates throughout Manhattan, was destroyed after a fire ripped through it.
The Mitzvah Tank was parked on a Crown Heights street at the time of the fire, which was determined to have broken out in the electrical panel of the RV which serves as a Mitzvah Tank.
Firefighters who arrived quickly extinguished the fire.
The Tank was almost entirely destroyed in the fire, including all the articles which had been stored inside.
You can help them out with this link to rebuild the Mitzva tank http://www.donorbox.org/devasting-fire
I saw them trying to doing repairs on the mitzvah tank a couple days ago all day, and now it’s suddenly burnt down.
And that night it was parked on a street with no cctv, when it’s usually on kingston.
Interesting
He lives around the corner from where it was parked…
But he doesn’t usually park it there…
He has 3 Mitzvah tanks. He does not always park them all on Kingston.
It is where ever he can find parking.
Commercial vehicles can not park in the street overnight.
They are doing road work where it usually is parked by 770. Not everything is a conspiracy
It’s always parked somewhere near 770, every single day for months. People looking for parking know. One random night he parks miles away, on a street with cctv and the things burns down. Not a conspiracy theorist but….
I passed it parked on kingston too, while kingston was under construction, and there were bochurim working all day trying to repair it
No commercial vehicle parking overnight in nyc
If it was antisemitic arson, may hashem take revenge against the arsonist speedily in our days! Amen!
I thought he branded it on the side, the west village Jewish center?
If he is insured, he should be able to replace it without much trouble.
was anyone injured
