Many people gathered Thursday night to celebrate the Siyum of the entire Shisha Sidrei Mishna in the Adas Yisroel Nusach Ho’Arizal shul in Manchester.
The Siyum was made by R’ Sholom Weiss in memory of his mother.
R’ Sholom has been learning one mishna every day for many years, and now finally has finished the entire mishnayos after over 10 years.
The program began with the siyum, and afterwords Rabbi Yaakov Wreshner, Rov of the Beis Mordachai Shul – a local Litvish shul – spoke about the greatness of Mrs. Weiss obm.
R’ Shmuel Goldberg spoke about the greatness of a siyum, affecting even those that didn’t actually make the siyum, but are a part of the celebration.
R’ Yitschok Klyne of Yeshivas Lubavitch Manchester spoke as well.

Wow Ta/Zeidy what an awesome role model you are for all of us. Your perseverance and commitment are incredible. Not only did you learn a mishna every day, but you prepared it and taught it in shul every day for 10 years. May you have much nachas from all of your children and grandchildren and may they follow your example.
