At Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Migdal HaEmek, the talmidim and staff were uplifted this week as the Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Yitzchok Goldberg, distributed Chanukah Gelt in keeping with the Rebbe’s well-known horaah to give students and teachers extra Chanukah support and encouragement.
Rabbi Goldberg addressed the bochurim before the distribution, highlighting the Rebbe’s emphasis on this minhag and how it serves to strengthen their learning, chassidishkeit, and connection to the Rebbe. Bochurim described the moment as warm and personal, noting the Rosh Yeshiva’s consistent dedication to every talmid.
Staff members also received Chanukah Gelt, continuing the Yeshiva’s long-standing effort to recognize and appreciate those who devote themselves to the chinuch and daily operation of the institution.
The Yeshiva itself is experiencing significant growth. With enrollment increasing each year, the campus has become packed and operating beyond capacity, prompting the administration to begin renovation and expansion work to better accommodate the growing student body. The project aims to create more classroom space, improved dormitory conditions, and an enhanced environment for the learning and avodas Hashem that define Tomchei Tmimim.
