‘Holding Strong is a one-of-its-kind retreat for Anash mothers,’ says Bassie Shemtov, co-founder of Friendship Circle, ‘We are the most important resource in the lives of our teens. As Lubavitch mothers, we are standing on the front lines with our teens, facing the last, greatest challenges galus can throw at us.’
This August 14-17, with thanks to a very generous grant, you have the unique opportunity to learn, grow and recharge with the best minds, the biggest hearts and the most experienced voices in raising happy, healthy, chassidisheh teens.
Along with trusted mental health professionals from within our own communities, we will chart a way forward for our teens.
Join Rabbi Shais Taub, Yosef Malkin, Soro Morozow, Dena Gorkin, and many more for a once-in-a-lifetime retreat experience.
Holding Strong Retreat will take place at the beautiful Spider Lake Retreat in Traverse City, MI serving you fabulous kosher cuisine and stocked snack bars.
There will be prominent therapists, psychologists, and social workers who will speak with you, host intimate workshops, and have availability for one-on-one time with mothers.
A wide range of interactive workshops will be given, including:
Inspiring a love and commitment for Yiddishkeit and Chassidishkeit
Mental health awareness
Engraving your core values in the hearts of your teens
Stress management
Making Yiddishkeit a joyful experience
Supporting loved ones with anxiety
