“Chanuka has been inspiring and uplifting for the Bochurim here in Mesivta,” said the Menahel of the Lubavitch Mesivta of Pittsburgh, Rabbi Eliezer Shusterman.
The assistant Menahel, Rabbi Mendel Unsdorfer, along with the Shluchim, organized the many Mivtzoim and Peulos that the Bochurim were involved in.
There was a Mivtza Tank for each Shiur which traveled around the city and the Bochurim gave out almost 300 Menorahs.
They also helped bring Chayus to the many public Menorah lightings in Pittsburgh.
The Bochurim were also very involved in coordinating the car Menorah parade with over 75 cars!
There was a bowling trip and an ice skating trip as well, and there were Latke Ovents held at the homes of Hanhala.
