Menorah Shines Bright in Reykjavik, Iceland

A large crowd gathered for a Menorah lighting event in downtown Reykjavik, Iceland, by Chabad of Iceland.

The lighting was very meaningful and moving, especially during these difficult times.

Shliach Rabbi Avi Feldman led the crowd in prayers for Israel and the Menorah was lit, shining its light of Jewish pride.

“People were very emotional to see the Menorah lit up, to hear words of inspiration and strength, to daven for Israel, and to hear the music of ‘am yisrael chai’ on the main street of Reykjavik,” Rabbi Feldman said.
