Menorah Lights Up Downtown Syracuse

For the 43rd consecutive year Chabad Lubavitch of Syracuse held its public Chanukah Menorah in Downtown Syracuse.

Joining Rabbi Mendy Rapoport, Rabbi and Director of Chabad SU, in lighting the Menorah in Clinton Sq., Downtown Syracuse was Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh. They were assisted by one of Syracuse’s Fire Fighters, who come every year to take Rabbi Rapoport and visiting officials up to light the Menorah.

Rabbi Yaakov Rapoport, Director of Chabad Lubavitch of Central NY, blessed Mayor Ben Walsh after lighting Shamesh on the Menorah.
