This year Chanukah will be celebrated in Berlin, with 45 public Menorahs standing across the entire city.
Among them will be five Government ministries, the foreign ministry, the interior ministry, the justice ministry, the defense ministry, the digital and transport ministry, in addition to a public menorah standing in front of the parliament of Berlin as well as in front of many government buildings and public squares.
The largest Menorah of all stands in front of the Brandenburg gate. In the same exact spot where Hitler and the Nazis stood and spread hate and death, Europe’s largest menorah will be standing bright and tall bringing the message of light over darkness.
