A fire broke out in a building in Crown Heights Thursday evening, when a Menorah caught fire.
The fire was discovered at approximately 7:00 pm, when a resident entered the building on Crown Street near New York Avenue, and heard screaming coming from one of the ground floor apartments.
He quickly ran to help, and he saw a large part of the apartment was in flames, after a Menorah had caught fire.
He was able to help the resident of the apartment, an elderly woman, escape the apartment and get to safety.
Thank G-d there were no injuries.
Baruch HaShem no one was hurt!
