Mushkie, what a beautiful tribute to your mother a’h. I learned so much from and about her from your heartfelt writing. In the 70’s I taught a student in Bais Rivka, whom your parents a’h had been mekarev. Your mother a’h was so involved in her chinuch–every biological parent should be that involved! Your mothers Mesibas Shabbos parties for children age 4-10 was a big part of my childhood. I would attend the weekly mesibas Shabbos’s and say the 12 pesukim together with your mother. As a child I saw that your mother was a very special person and I will always remember how she appeared so warm and modest as she said the 12 pesukim with the children.

Lovely Neighbor
