Cheder at the Ohel had a truly memorable Yud Tes and Chof Kislev event.
After washing for Hamotzie, the Talmidim stepped into a beautifully decorated ballroom and were treated to an array of delicious food sponsored by the Preger and Herz families.
Rabbi Mendy Backman, the Rebbi of Kita Ches, introduced the event, discussing the significance of the Yom Tov and recounting the story of Yud Tes Kislev.
Amidst the joyous Seudah, the Talmidim united in singing Pada B’Shalom and other niggunim.
We were honored to have a guest speaker, Rabbi Levi Shemtov, who delivered an inspiring message about the essence of the Yom Tov.
A beautiful play, performed by some of our talmidim, portrayed the story of the Alter Rebbe in prison.
To conclude the beautiful event, Kitas Vov, Zayin and Ches joined in an enjoyable and inspiring Farbrengen with Rabbi Shemtov.
