Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch of Morristown had the great pleasure of hosting Rabbi Tzvi Telsner, Rov and Shliach in Melbourne, Australia, for an uplifting Chassidishe Farbrengen, celebrating The Rebbe’s Anniversary on Yud-Daled Kislev.
The program began with a Yud-Daled-Kislev-themed video of the Rebbe, reflecting the Yeshiva’s ‘Koch’ in watching the Rebbe every day throughout the entire Month of Kislev; a program initiated by the Shluchim with the help of a few dedicated bochurim.
Following the video, the Zal broke into spirited dancing with lively music and singing. Bochurim danced with tremendous Chayus and Lebedikeit… Thanks to the abundance of food and drinks provided by the Morristown Mivtsoyim office, directed by HaTomim Arik HaKohen Deren and HaTomim Matisyahu Weingarten. Bochurim enjoyed the geshmake music and tunes, with HaTomim Naftoli Goodman on the keyboard.
Immediately following the dancing, Bochurim sat down to a special farbeisen-laden Fabrengen tish with HoRav Tzvi Telsner. Bochurim sat for hours, absorbing the moving stories and accounts related to the Yomtov of Yud-Daled Kislev. Rabbi Telsner spoke at length about the Mesirus-Nefesh and sacrifice of many Chassidim at the time, to participate in the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s Wedding. Rabbi Telsner also shared some fascinating stories and memories from his days as a young Bochur in the presence of the Rebbe. Bochurim were especially moved when Rabbi Telsner emphasized the importance of ‘Koching’ in Limmud HaTorah, something the Rebbe demands of each and every one of us. Spirited niggunim were sung with a tremendous chayus throughout the entire farbrengen.
After the conclusion of what could only be described as a most-riveting Fabrengen, bochurim were spellbound. At the behest of the Shluchim, Rabbi Ephraim Piekarski, Mashpia of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim, Morristown, continued farbrenging with the bochurim until the early hours of the morning. Photos were taken by HaTomim Shmuel Grossbaum.
The event was coordinated by the Shluchim to Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim, Morristown.
