The Rebbe encouraged melamdim to attend courses for teacher training, stating that it doesn’t have to take years to do! Well, here it is – a teacher training crash course taking place this summer.
The Menachem Education Foundation’s acclaimed teacher training program is now being offered as a four week program, with 18 sessions taking place online, with an expanded team of top Chinuch presenters that include Rabbis Zelig Silber, Yossi Rosenblum, Zalmen Raskin and Mendy Levin.
These presenters will focus on the fundamentals of teaching that can apply in any setting, and also provide tailored training for online teaching as well in case it is needed.
MEF wants to encourage young aspiring educators to “Make Teaching Your Shlichus,” and for this reason is promising 80% of the program cost back to anyone who fully participates, and holds a teaching job during the upcoming school year.
With every topic rooted in Torah and the Rebbe’s guidance, chassidishe melamdim can be sure that this program will prepare them to have hatzlacha in the avodas hakodesh of Chinuch.
Rabbi Hershel Lustig, Dean of Oholei Torah, has sent numerous teachers to this course in the past.
“My new teachers who attend this program come to the classroom with confidence and proficiency,” he says.
This program begins on כ”ג תמוז (July 15), and participants can sign up at www.MyMEF.org/events/teachertraining
Thank you MEF for taking such care to ensure our children have great Chinuch.
Raising the future of Lubavitch.
Someone told me it will be remote so I can finally join without traveling …
Is this only for men? Is there a women’s program as well?
This program is specifically for men. However, other training programs are being planned for our Mechanchos. Email [email protected] to find out more.
