Today’s Mechanchim and Mechanchos often wonder if Chinuch happens through impactful lessons or through words of encouragement and connection shared with students. Although there isn’t one right answer, there is no doubt that when students feel seen, heard and cared for by their teachers, the lesson’s impact runs far deeper.
MEF is excited to feature veteran educator and teacher mentor, Rabbi Shmuel Wagner, on tonight’s webinar (10 Iyar/ April 27) at 8:30 pm for educators on what real student relationships look like.
This end of year professional development session for educators will explore the dynamic of real teacher-student relationships, how to connect with parents to partner over their children’s Chinuch and practical steps to make this part of the everyday school experience. Open to Mechanchim and Mechanchos of all ages, subjects and grade levels are welcome to join. The webinar is free for teachers of Chabad school member schools, and a minimal fee of $18 for non Chabad school member educators. To register, visit mymef.org/webinar.
