With the month of Tishrei approaching, New York City Mayor Eric Adams visited Boro Park on Monday, engaging warmly with local residents and community leaders in anticipation of the upcoming High Holidays, Boro Park 24 reported.
Mayor Adams began his visit at the newly completed Bobov-45 shul, where he was graciously welcomed by the Bobov-45 Rebbe and shown the magnificent new Kehila Center. The two held a private conversation, after which the mayor sat down with local administrators and prominent community figures to discuss neighborhood matters and concerns of residents.
The Mayor then took to the bustling streets of Boro Park, stopping in at familiar community staples including Weiss Bakery, Eichler’s, and Oh Nuts. Surrounded by shoppers preparing for the upcoming Tishrei month, he exchanged warm greetings with store owners, employees, and customers. In a lively moment, Moshe Davis, Executive Director of the Mayor’s Office to Combat Antisemitism, sounded the shofar inside Eichler’s, adding to the spirited pre–Yom Tov atmosphere.
While walking through the neighborhood, Adams also stopped to admire the newly inaugurated Misaskim van and spoke with its representatives about their vital work supporting families in crisis. Throughout his visit, the mayor paused frequently to shake hands, greet passersby, and wish local residents a happy and sweet new year — many of whom expressed their appreciation for his visit.

Are we going to ignore the fact that 5 different of our very own Crown Heights community leaders both male and female Askonim have real connections with Adams and pull with the Adams administration, and the fact is there is a 0% chance “Al Pi Teva” that Adams can win reelection. Why aren’t the 5 CH Leaders, and the about 25 CH Activists & machers that are associated with those different leaders using every and any connection and brownie points that they have to get Adams to shut down some of the many CH city funded Homeless shelter projects, bike… Read more »
A little clarification for those that reached out to me in response to the previous comment. All the issues outlined are problems that “our good friend” Eric Adams directly created under his Department Of Homeless Services and Department Of Transportation departments.
These problems destroying CH was made possible by Eric Adams as Mayor of NYC. Not by Bill De Blasio or Kathy Hochul, but by our former CH senator and “friend” Eric Adams.
Brooklyn Jewish Republican Committee
And Citibikes under the cover of darkness Eric Adams had the DOT install all over Crown Heights streets, removing over 50 parking spots and causing lots of issues.
True,’not in my backyard’ no one wants shelters. On the otherhand, would you like those who are homelsss walking around with NO Where to go?? The shelters are a fact of life. You dont have to love them but its a neccesary evil so lets stop beating a dead horse. re the Campaign….the Mayor has literally been ALL Over. If you have a suggesstion, please make it but to state the campaigh is bad is saying nothing. Adams since he was a NYS Senator, has alsways worked hard for our community and all of his constituents. If we vote as… Read more »
Ohh you sweet naive young Crown Heightser, the homeless shelters in CH has homeless individuals from all over the city, country and world (illegal migrants) living in there. If there wouldn’t be shelters in CH then the Homeless would roam the streets of Manhattan, not CH. Infact that’s where they got picked up from the streets of Manhattan. And I don’t care about Manhattan, I care about CH. Before you go all out to defend Adams who caused the issues, you probably don’t know that “CH United” decided already to endorse Cuomo & will make that announcement before election. During… Read more »
