Hundreds of employees of the Jewish and Israeli institutions in New York have received Shmura Matzah for their Pesach Seder by Chabad.
Rabbi Shmuel Butman, Executive Director of Lubavitch Youth Organization, has delivered Matzos to The Jewish Federations of North America, Israeli Consulate, UJA-Federation of New York, State of Israel Bonds and more.
“Chabad never forgets us and I thank Rabbi Butman for all his work,” said John Ruskay, executive vice president and CEO of the United Jewish Appeal – Federation NY.
Jerry Silverman, President and CEO of The Jewish Federations of North America, also has warm words for Chabad.
“Where ever I travel, I meet Chabad men doing great work,” he said. “They are an integral part of the Jewish scenery and the world sees their contribution to the Jewish nation.”
At the Israel Bonds offices on Lexington Avenue, the President & CEO Joshua Matza joined Rabbi Butman in personally handing Matzah to the staff.
