A man was arrested on Friday after he was seen walking around on Albany Avenue near Union Street while holding a knife.
Witnesses said the person, who appears to be emotionally disturbed, was seen holding the knife and saying “I’m going to kill you,” while peering into parked cars.
His behavior alarmed passersby who alerted NYPD officers stationed at 770 Eastern Parkway, police said.
The police immediately chased the man and detained him on Kingston Avenue near Eastern Parkway.

Violent Criminals are roaming our streets and there is nothing we can do about it. Elections have huge consequences!!!
When the only nominees are the worst of the worst and we have to choose the ‘best’ of the worst. Since you know so much, Who SHOULD we have voted for who would actually get in on our vote.
He has been hanging out near mendys and chocalatte the past few nights or more…
He has been hanging around 770 for the past 1/2 year or so.
Very aggressive tzedaka collector
Wow BH he was caught before anything violent happened!!
Tries to act like a prospective baal teshuva
If so, we must unfortunately continue to watch out for this person.
Wonder if the legal system even confiscated the knife…
Smack in the middle of our neighborhood. Need I say more?
Great job to those who reported him and great job, NYPD!
