A suspect has been arrested on Tuesday after throwing a rock at a young Jewish girl in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:00 pm on Carroll Street and Albany Avenue.
A black male was seen acting disorderly, and shouting angry slurs at a number of Jewish passersby, police said, when he then picked up a rock and threw it, hitting a Jewish female, who was not seriously hurt.
Shmira volunteers and the police were both called. A short while later, the perpetrator was spotted by a witness together with a Shmira member and was followed until Eastern Parkway at the corner of Albany Avenue.
When the police arrived, Shmira volunteers pointed out the perpetrator, who continued to make anti-Semitic comments.
The perpetrator then attempted to flee and a scuffle ensued between him and the officers. After a short while, they managed to subdue him and took him into custody.
As he was being arrested, “he yelled he would kill all the Jews,” a witness said.
Hate crimes has been notified of the incident, police said.

this man started following them, cursing and spouting anti-Semitic epithets. It was nighttime already and they were frightened by his steady pursuit. She was whispering to her son that Hashem was with them when out of nowhere a man appeared and chased him away. More cameras for a strong conviction, otherwise the DA has no choice and send them to the revolving door. Take advantage from technology it cost next to nothing for a peaceful neighborhood. This is easier then Kriyas Yam Suf!

PLEASE EVERYONE! As soon as you see someone behaving strangely just call Shmira immediately. You may save a life!!! Just tell them what you saw & let them judge how to handle it. Better to call then to thing it may be nothing. As you can see from the previous comments many people saw this guy acting strangely even before he started throwing rocks.
Fact is many of these criminals are let free by the police or the DA.
If this particular one isn’t (I hope you’re right) that is great, but we still have a MAJOR problem of dangerous criminals being sent straight back to our streets.

The DA treats many antisemitic criminals much easier than he would if it was a crime on a black person.
The police not catching many of these people is another problem, but don’t let the DA off the hook.
I have news for you, many times when the police actually do catch these animals the DA lets them out and doesn’t try to prosecute them according to the full extent of the law.

The DA will not send this animal back out, he will stay in for a while, thanks to the SHMIRA guys for following him, & pointing him out to police, the cops are to “busy” to respond right away, and many times the criminals gets away for this very reason. He’s the one that decides whether to charge and bring criminals to court. In antisemitic crimes he (whoever the DA is at the time) usually tries to go as light as possible on the criminal.
We can vote him out if we want to. Sadly we don’t.
The DA always lets criminals against Jews go free. He knows Crown Heights won’t vote him out, in fact most of them don’t vote at all.
