For those who have always had their limbs and have never faced the threat of amputation, a leg may be taken for granted. The ability to walk, to be independent, to go up and down stairs, and to be seen as an equal peer by other adults may be your reality. Yechiel, however, is living in another world: For years, he has suffered from an infection which has left him wheelchair-bound. Recently, however, there has been a new urgent development. The infection has reached his bones, and if he is unable to receive expensive medical treatment, doctors will be forced to amputate.
Apart from the obvious physical and emotional repercussions of losing a limb, Yechiel sees another reason to save his leg. He badly wants to get married and to build a home, and fears that if he becomes an amputee he will spend the rest of his life alone. This is a particularly painful struggle for a kind, intelligent young man such as himself.
An emergency fund has been opened with the hope of saving Yechiel’s leg, so that he can lead a healthy life, have a full recovery, and one day start a home as most have the opportunity to do. Each day and donation counts, as the infection continues to spread.
If he goes to a vascular doctor he can have the defective vein that is causing the infection blocked. He can also use unheated honey on the wound to cure the infection.i know because i also suffered from a similar problem and honey on the wound and hawthorn capsule for circulation is finally curing it. Please look on the internet to research this if you dont believe me. I am also a nurse
I know him personally and will definitely try and get this idea over to him but it is possible he has tried it since he has tried everything they are offering here in Israel
I know the family personally it is a genuine story and very sad. He is from the most amazing family who have tried everything for him but money is very tight there even though both parents work very hard. Whom ever can help has a huge mitzva!!
