A Jewish teenaged girl was chased by a man armed with a knife in Crown Heights on Sunday morning, police said.
The incident occurred on President Street near Schenectady Avenue at 11 am, when the girl was pursued by a black male who was armed with a knife, Shomrim volunteers told the NYPD.
A police report has not been filed, and the police have not identified the victim.
Shomrim and other community members are working with the police to try to locate witnesses to the incident or other possible victims of the perpetrator.
The perpetrator appears to have run into 1622 President Street, and the police are working on collecting video evidence.
“The 71st Pct is well aware of the situation, and is fully investigating the situation,” a police spokesperson told COLlive.

According to NY post a 19 yr old was attacked by a man with a knife on ralph ave and dragģed away and raped.
The attacker resembled the crown hts attacker.
He also was wearing a red hoodie, as was the crown hts attacker.
