Rabbi Ari Chitrik, a businessman and resident of Crown Heights, has also had another longstanding ‘career.’
For the past 20 years, Rabbi Chitrik has taught a weekly Tuesday night Gemara Shiur at Bais Shmuel Chabad in Crown Heights.
Ever since the founding of the Shul, which has steadily grown in membership year after year, Rabbi Chitrik has taught the well-liked and well-attended shiur in Gemara Bavli.
Even during Covid lockdowns, the Shiur continued virtually on Zoom.
This week, in appreciation for the 2 decades of dedication, the members of the Shiur presented Rabbi Chitrik with a special gift.
At this week’s shiur, they presented him with a 51-volume set of ArtScroll Talmud Yerushalmi – Schottenstein English Edition, which Rabbi Chitrik received with great emotion.
“Rabbi Chitrik has been extremely dedicated to the Shiur, rain or shine, with everything in life going on, he is always consistent in coming to give the class,” said Rabbi Moshe Pinson, President of Bais Shmuel Chabad. “We have the utmost gratitude to him for his dedication and wish him many more healthy years to continue to teach and inspire.”

Rabbi Chitrik is a talmid chocham and a mentch. A example to us all.
Go Boaz
