London Wraps Winter Camp

Dozens of girls from around the UK united for an awesome, fun-filled, action packed 5 days in Liconsfeild, Bushey for winter camp.

The girls enjoyed a grand Shabbos, ranging from delicious meals, uplifting Fabrengens, discussions and much more. Swimming in a state of the art pool, an indoor fun house and a Melava Malka followed by energized dancing, really finished off a great Shabbos.

Sunday brought a range of exciting activities such as sports in a leisure centre, arts and crafts, work-shops and a thrilling game of capture the flag.

This amazing day was finished off with an incredible trip to the forest were the camp enjoyed a blazing bonfire, warm food and endless dancing and singing. They returned to their bunk houses and were treated to a moving Jewish film along with popcorn and nosh.

A trip to the science museum on Monday, followed by a tour of Central London at night, was completed with an incredible banquet prepared by the camp’s kitchen staff.

The camp was directed by Rabbi and Mrs. Ives, Mushky Herzog, Aydel Rabin and a wonderful staff who worked tirelessly to make winter camp a most memorable experience. A group of devoted and loving counselors from Milan, Italy added Chayus, enthusiasm and achdus.

Special thanks was given to Rabbi and Mrs. Dubov and Rabbi and Mrs. Plotke and their families for inspiring the girls and adding to the incredible atmosphere.

Thanks was also given to the kitchen staff for all the nourishing and tasty meals, and dedicated waitresses, Year 12.

The camp also expressed great appreciation to Mrs. Ives, known as “the Mummy of us all” and her husband for all the care and devotion to the campers.
