For the first time in Lubavitch UK’s 50-year history, the Lag BaOmer Parade was held in North West London, on the streets outside Hendon Chabad House.
The event saluting Jewish Pride and Unity attracted over 2,500 people, creating a tremendous Kiddush Hashem.
The dias was graced by Rabbis Nachman Sudak, Yitzchok Meir Hertz, Shmuel Lew, Faivish Vogel, Levi Sudak, Aryeh Sufrin and Gershon Overlander, Yitzchok Shochet and Menachem Yunik as well as local officials including the Mayor of Barnet and British Army Chaplains.
Rabbi Nissan Dovid Dubov was MC and guest speaker was Rabbi Mendy Korer, the new Shliach to Islington, London.
International music star Shoime Gertner entertained the huge crowd & a show was performed by a tight rope walker.
The successful event was organized by Rabbi Yossi and Chani Simon of Tzivos Hashem and their dedicated team, and co-ordinated with all the local mosdos, Hendon Chabad house, London Jewisf Family Center Kingsley Way Beth Hamedrash, Heichal Menachem, Beis Gavriel & Chabad Lubavitch UK.
Led by the marching band, the parade then marched to Hendon Park, where a funfair was held all day.

I had a gr8 time so did all my freinds! It was arranged to the last detail everyone could tell! This was an a amazing parade. Rabbi dubov spoke so eloquently and then gave the crowd amazing brochos!

There is so much Rubbish/Trash (and anti-Semitism) that goes on there outside the Chabad House on those streets exactly where the parade took place, it’s so incredible to see such pride and so many Jews gathered together to strenghthen each other, I never envisioned an event so large and spectacular to take place outside my fathers Chabad House, its the times of Moshiach no joke!
Thank you to all the girls of Lubavitch Senior Girls School who stood for hours manning the stalls at the funfair.
