EVERY shidduch I have suggested for a girl gets met with “This is not for us” and I’ve sent 10’s of suggestions…..
It very well might be that it’s “not for us”.
So many times people suggested names that were really “not for us” .
Don’t expect someone to agree to go out just because the shadchan -who often does not know neither side well- thinks it’s a good idea.
In three years only 1 shidduch was suggested (although that mutually didn’t work out).
How do you think that makes one feel?
Remember, shidduchim is similar to birth.
Each contraction , in this case , each shidduch that is redt , even if not appropriate, brings us closer to the bashert, which is the birth.
It’s a tough parsha.
Not one suggestion the entire summer. Most shadchanim we’re on vacation. “Chabad” needs to dedicate some shadchanim for just 25 and up.
Your shiduch is your responsibility. Reach out to lots of people. Don’t rely on shadchan to find your shiduch. Speak to neighbors, former classmates, family members, friends, colleagues, people in shul. And anyone else you might meet.
