Great to see open dialogue surrounding issues relating to mental health and suicide.

Hopefully the day will come soon when we also properly address sexuality related issues in our community and no longer treat it as “don’t ask don’t tell!”

I hope they will also address the 10% of suicides not linked to mental illness. I think a common way people deal with the discomfort and pain of suicide is by covering it over with the slightly more tolerable topic of mental illness.

True and even less acknowledged than mental illnes

Sometimes it’s not due to a chemical imbalance,sometimes there’s really no way out,don’t judge what you haven’t experienced
