My mother, Z”L, was a survivor; deathly ill and just skin/bone, when
she was liberated from Bergen-Belsen. When I gave her Rabbi Mangel’s first
tapes (late 80’s, maybe early 90’s) of his experience, she was amazed that a little boy could go through this. “This is the best Holocaust story I ever heard.”
