Was mashgiach (afternoon genius in residence) in Yeshiva Gedola in Miami Beach in the late 70’s early 80’s. Knew academic stuff better than most but didn’t toot his own horn. easy going, quiet genius, with a twinkle in his eye for everyone and can-do attitude for life. The world lost a great one – also had one for a bit, for which I’m grateful.
Reb Leizer was one of a kind. One of a kind in many ways.
