L.A Community Gathers for Rosh Chodesh Hakhel Event

On Wednesday, Rosh Chodesh Av, community members from many different shuls across Los Angeles gathered for a Children’s Unity Hakhel.

The event was a project of several local shuls and organizations such as Chabad Persian Youth Center, Chabad Sola, The Library Shul, Jewish Creative Preschool and Bais Betzalel.

A huge thank you to Rabbi Moshe and Mushky Bitton of Chabad Persian Youth/ Jewish Creative Preschool who spearheaded and organized the hakhel gathering.

Participants also joined together for a Tzivos Hashem rally led by Rabbi Avrohom Wagshul which included a special tefillah for the speedy recovery of Refael Chaim Meir ben Sima Chasha.

The hakhel event featured “The World’s First Inflatable Beis Hamikdash”, custom designed and created by Menachem Cohen of Perfect Party L.A. Both children and adults alike were amazed at this incredible and truly unique moon bounce that resembles the Beis Hamikdash.

The first 100 children that came to the event received a free ice cream from the La Creme Dairy ice cream truck! Children were also thrilled at the opportunity to ride the Perfect Party L.A mitzvah train as well as enjoy kosher concessions and fresh pizza.

This special hakhel gathering strengthened a strong yearning and desire for Moshiach to come when we will have the ultimate Third Beis Hamikdash speedily in our days!
