In the small town of Shinyi situated on the outskirts of China’s capital, there descended a small team of highly qualified rabbis and a Shochet, with all but one mission in mind, to bring Kosher lamb and chicken to all of the 12 Chabad Shluchim families residing in the People’s Republic of China.
Led by Rabbi Shimon Freundlich, Director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Beijing, China, and the shochet Rabbi Chaim Klein from South Africa who was flown to Shinyi for this specific event, and together with the help of an additional four Shluchim, Rabbi’s, Raskin, Rodin, S.B. Freundlich and Vishedsky.
“The past three days sure have been exhausting, but most rewarding,” says Rabbi Freundlich. “We have spent all this time koshering, cutting, chopping and supervising , ensuring that all of the lamb and chicken is kept up to the highest standards of Kashrut.”
Rabbi Freundlich informs that during these days they have preared hundreds of lamb and over 5000 chickens.
He has been sending Kosher meat and chicken to all of the Chabad Houses in China from the time he and his wife arrived 9 years ago. Rabbi Freundlich is also responsible for producing the Cholov Yisroel milk in Beijing.

Love you guys
how beautiful of him to set this up.
I say they should use all of it, even make soups and sauces from the bones!!!
He is a real dugma of an emeser chassidishe yid hear in south africa. always out to help someone, an ibergigebine shliach of the Rebbe.
shimon and dini u are doing a great job im sure the Rebbe OBM is very proud of you you change all china now everyone can eat kosher beef, chicken lamb and milk continue !!!
Firstly, it says hundreds of lamb and 5000 chickens.
Secondly, there are places that shave the neck, even hundreds at a time like in Melbourne, Australia, for an easier shechita and less wear on the knife.
It says HUNDREDS of LAMBS, not 5000!!!
Rabbi Klein is incredible!
go sholi
its cheaper on that side of the world!
It is the most difficult to shecht because of all the wool around the throat. Damages the knife – unless you shaved 5,000 sheep? Maybe Chinese sheep have smooth throats.
Ober ess gezuntehheid.
