Music producer Avi Newark has released a wedding songs album “Nagila V’nismicha” this month with enough time until the Sefiras Haomer period begins when listening to music is prohibited.
A promo video was filmed with the 20 track album’s guest singer Benny Friedman of Crown Heights who has one successful album in his resume.
Titled “Bringing Simcha to Every Job!” the short clip follows a Jewish homeowner in Cedarhurst, NY, trying to entertain himself after sweating it while cleaning his kitchen for Pesach.
His savior is Friedman popping up in the man’s backyard…

“People keep asking what kind of a CD this is,” says the album’s promoter Sruly Meyer. “This CD is a wedding CD, its a collection CD, it’s a CD of many different styles and most of all its a simcha CD. We think that this is a CD that when you hear it, it makes anything your doing more simchadik.”
