The organizing committee of the 5770 International Kinus Hashluchim is looking to spruce up Chabad activities in the face of the global financial crisis.
Meeting Thursday in the Jewish Children’s Museum in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights section, some 30 participants reviewed the planned workshops.
Scheduled for November 11 – 16, 2009, the annual conference of Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries serving as rabbis, educators and community leaders attracts some 4,000 men.
Participants use the time to network and share programs and ideas at workshops, sessions and even while dining.
One of the topics discussed at the plenary meeting was requiring advance registration for several sought-after workshops, some with financial experts.
“We are way ahead in the planning and can allow ourselves the time to work on the improvement of workshops,” an official at Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch told COLlive.
Get a life. We all know that the Rebbe wanted us to tell the world about Moshiach.
Instead of making new workshops i think you should make a bit longer.
please dont use the “M” word.
Thanks
maybe make some good Moshiach Workshops
