As Yud Shvat draws closer, and bochurim in Yeshivas around the world prepare themselves spiritually for the auspicious day, unfortunately, many Bochurim and Yeshivas will not be able to come in-person to spend time at the Rebbe’s Ohel or in 770 and Crown Heights due to COVID.
Therefore, the Vaad Hatmimim will hold its annual Kinus Hatmimim, however, the format will be different this year to accommodate all those joining virtually from afar.
The program will go through the 70-year-old Farbrengen of Yud Shevat 5711, divided by Sicha. Each of the Farbrengen’s 7 Sichos will be shown, and each will be followed by a Mashpia who will speak about the Sicha and its relevance to each bochur.
The Mashpiim include: Rabbi Yosef Gurevitz of Mesivta Chicago – Sicha 1, Rabbi Shlomo Kaplan of Oholei Torah Zal – Sicha 2, Rabbi Mendel Schapiro of Yeshiva Los Angeles – Sicha 3, Rabbi Mendel Gordon of Yeshiva London – Sicha 4, Rabbi Yosef Klyne of Yeshiva Baltimore – Sicha 5a, Rabbi Shlomo Chaim Feldman of Yeshiva Cholon – Sicha 5b, and Rabbi Moshe Wolberg of Yeshiva Manchester – Sicha 6
The program will begin at 9:00 pm EST Thursday, eve of 8 Shevat and will be aired live on Chabad.org/vaad and COLlive.com.
