This past Thursday, Chase Bank kicked off their third annual Chase Community Giving campaign, donating a total of $5,000,000 to deserving charities.
Nonprofits nationwide are competing in the Facebook based voting challenge for the chance to be one of 196 winners to receive grants ranging from $10,000 to $250,000.
Both Friendship Circle of Crown Heights and Friendship Circle of Central Jersey, the Manalapan based nonprofit serving children and adults with special needs, hit the ground running to garner the votes necessary to beat out the thousands of other charities competing for the same prize.
“The Friendship Circle is based on the belief that if we all pitch in just a little bit, we can make a big difference,” said Chanale Wolosow, director of FC of New Jersey. “The Chase initiative takes that to a whole new level. What can be easier than a vote?”
“We are turning to you for assistance in getting as many votes as we can,” said FC of Crown Heights director Berel Majeski. “To be part of the top 200 and win $10K should only take 3000 votes, and with all your help, this is very attainable.”

AT LEAST 4000 of them have SOMEONE in the home with facebook or a chase account?? how come Crown Heights doesnt have this many votes?
