The ongoing situation in Eretz Yisrael affects us all, presenting an opportunity for collective action in support of the people of Israel, our soldiers, and fellow Jews. Even our young children can play a meaningful role in this effort, providing a valuable chinuch experience for them.
Crown Heights children* have a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of Israeli kids who have been displaced from their homes. We’re currently collecting essential items such as socks, tights/leggings, jackets, sweaters, and basic clothing—items that resonate with our kids as they understand the importance of staying warm during winter. (*Children from anywhere can participate by shipping items to the address below.)
In addition to material contributions, our children can also share notes of support and encouragement for the Israeli children. These heartfelt notes will be included in the packages.
We are working directly with Chabad of Talbiya/Mamila and the Friendship Circle of Central Jerusalem, who have established the Amshelanu Boutique Center as a dedicated resource for these families. They are actively involved in housing placement, providing food, clothing, organizing activities, and offering crucial emotional support. They have outlined their specific needs and have a well-organized plan to distribute the donated items directly to the children and families in need.
Let’s nurture the spirit of generosity in our children and collectively make a positive impact by providing comfort and support to those in need in these challenging circumstances. Your generosity and active participation in this initiative are deeply appreciated and will be meaningful for your children.
Your contributions will make a significant impact on the well-being of these children and their families. Thank you for your generosity and commitment to making a difference in the lives of these families.
