With great sadness we inform you of the tragic and untimely passing of Kasriel (Kazi) Benjamin at the age of 25 late Monday night.
Kazi attended Lubavitcher Yeshiva and most recently was a student at the Aliyah center in Crown Heights.
Kazi is survived by his parents, Yehudah and Sarah Benjamin of Flatbush, Brooklyn, and his siblings Meira Gewirtz – Miami, FL, Adina, Efi, Elisha, Nechemia, Shimon, Daniel, Asher and Amiel.
The Levaya will take place today, Tuesday, leaving from Shomrei Hadas at 1:30 pm and passing by 770 at 2:00 pm. From there the Levaya will continue to the Old Montefiore Cemetery in Queens.

Although I did not know him, I know his brothers very well and I can only imagine how they feel and what they’re going through, and I feel so bad! To lose your loved one at such a young age is just so tragic, Benjamin family be strong and one day our king Moshiach will arrive and turn all this tragedy upside down, may we see Moshiach asap!! Years ago when there were r”l so many tragedies, the Rebbe was asked why?, what can we do. The Rebbe’s answer was-ask the Rabanim. The response was the same Stop talking in Shule, men should daven with a minyan, and check the Mikvos.
