I don’t know why, but this page came up on my Internet site when I turned the computer on. I am glad it did come on though. It gives me a chance to refresh my memory about what a great man and lawyer Mr. Goodman was and will always be. I loved him as a person who helped my family many times when his help was needed. I am sure he is in Heaven looking down at what a mess the country is in. He and I always had good remarks to make to each other about what our country… Read more »

I have known Karl for many years, but only in a professional capacity. He was a fixture in the courthouse and moved with alacrity from case to case. He never minded the pace, always had a new child or grandchild to discuss. His last words to me were several weeks ago in Towson as we waited for our different States attorney’s to arrive and review our different matters. He spoke to me about his family and how happy he was, we laughed as we always did and I saw a man in good health at peace with the world. He… Read more »
I have known Mr. Goodman for over thirty years. He represented my wife, her ex-husband, my step-children and myself. I am sure he may have lost some cases, but he never lost a case representing my family. Mainly though, he was a great man in my eyes on a personal level. He treated everyone more then fairly. He will be sorely missed by many.
I would like to offer my most sincere condolences to the entire family of Karl of blessed memory. And specifically to Reuven, Chen, and Tamir. No words can take away the pain of such a great loss. Karl was a wonderful person, and a great father.
May Hashem give you the strength to continue on despite such a greatr loss. Hamkom Yenaschem Eschem.
Sincerely,

From Joel c. Denning. Mr. Goodman always had a smile and a kind word for me every time we saw each other in court. He was so proud of his children and Israel. He was a good man and I will miss him.
From Psoras and Psoras Law firm- Mr Goodman was one of those honest good men who you new you could trust and count on. I always enjoyed seeing him and He will be missed. He was funny and always made me laugh.
Congregation Ohel Levi Yitzchak – Bais Lubavitch aka the Goodman Auditorium, because he was center stage and Hashem heard his davening. The comment about wearing a yarmulka in court reminded me of a story he personally told me. He was in the middle of a case and it was nearing the end of the court day. There was a lot going on in the court room and out of nowhere he asked for a ten minute recess. The judge (& everyone else) looked at him like he was out of his mind. The judge said, “And Mr. Goodman, why do you need a ten minute recess when we are ending in a few minutes anyway?” Karl simply replied, “Your Honor, it’s… Read more »

Uncle Ish tov as he called himself to me was a very special man with a big heart. I recall that in a city of many frum yidden in the 1980’s, Baltimore attorney’s (even the most frum) did not wear Yarmulkas when they went to court. Karl made that practice obselete. Proud Jew that he was – he was the first Baltimore attorney to wear one in court and didn’t give it a second thought. A very special man with a famliy of very special people who will be sorely missed in this world ‘ad bias goel tzedek.’
