The Menachem Education Foundation (MEF) is proud to announce the launch of registration for the next cohort of Kadima L’Chinuch, a dynamic and immersive teacher training program designed to equip aspiring Mechanchim with the tools, confidence, and skills to succeed in the classroom.
Following the success of the most recent graduating class, this six-week intensive program will once again provide participants with hands-on training and professional development, ensuring they are prepared to enter the world of Chinuch with a strong foundation.
Announcing a unique opportunity this spring to receive high-quality teacher training, develop a template to set and meet your goals as a Mechanech, learn from the best teachers in Lubavitch, and gain assistance in finding your first Chinuch job—all for a small fee of just $500! In collaboration with United Lubavitcher Yeshiva, Darchei Menachem, and Oholei Torah, this program is directed by Rabbi Levke Kaplan, Menahel of Cheder Chabad Monsey, and offers an unparalleled training experience for aspiring Melamdim.
The six-week program includes teacher training courses every Sunday and one evening each week, with all classes taking place in person in Crown Heights at 510 Empire Blvd. Designed for Pre1A through 8th grade educators, the program covers essential Chinuch skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and teaching standards. Participants will be guided by top educators in Lubavitch, gaining practical knowledge and strategies to build a strong foundation for their future classrooms.
This year’s program features an impressive lineup of presenters, including Rabbi Levke Kaplan, Rabbi Mendy Blau, Rabbi Yehuda Fenton, Rabbi Yakov Goldstein, Rabbi Zelly Silber, and Rabbi Yossi Simpson. In addition to core training, participants will benefit from guest speakers covering essential topics such as Chassidishe Chinuch, mental health awareness in education, and much more.
“I felt that the course was given in a very enjoyable, engaging and practical way, and will Iy”H translate into the classroom for all of us,” says Rabbi Dovid Kastel, Kadima L’Chinuch Graduate.
Beyond the training, Kadima L’Chinuch provides financial support to its participants, with qualifying students receiving up to $1,500 upon completion and placement in Chinuch. This unique aspect of the program ensures that those who are ready to commit to the Shlichus of Chinuch are given the support they need to succeed.
With limited spots available, registration is now open for the upcoming cohort, beginning on 6 Iyar (May 14). Those interested in joining the program are encouraged to apply before the deadline on 29 Nissan (May 7).
