Looking forward to celebrating a real חג הגאולה together!
As promised, here is the story:
In 1990, just before Yud Aleph Nissan, I had the privilege of participating in the Machane Yisrael Development Fund group yechidus. When I introduced our supporters, Mr. and Mrs. Shaul and Elaine Levy, to the Rebbe, I mentioned that they were sponsors of our public Pesach seder. Shaul covered the costs of renting a ballroom and more in those early years.
The Rebbe, without missing a beat, asked, “And what about the rest of the holiday?” Mrs. Levy answered that she would be inviting everyone for the second night.
The Rebbe then looked at me and said, “There should be a way that someone who wants to keep kosher will be able to get kosher for Pesach food.”
The Rebbe added, “Yes, they should register ahead of time, but kosher food should be available.” The Rebbe then continued speaking about other topics.
We strive to fulfill the Rebbe’s directive to the best of our ability. Many have told us that “Pesach in Myrtle Beach” was the most spiritual Pesach they ever experienced. A beautiful setting, gourmet food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere come together to create a meaningful Pesach for your family.
