At next week’s Kinus Hashluchim, JLI will be distributing gifts for Shluchim to bring home to their wives.
“The Rosh Chodesh Society is a family of Shluchos, to which every Shlucha belongs,” Mrs. Shaindy Jacobson, director of JLI’s Rosh Chodesh Society, told COLlive. “We are particularly thankful to our sponsors for enabling us to gift every Shlucha with these beautiful pieces of fine jewelry.”
JLI advised COLlive that the number of gifts available is limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last.
Shluchim will be able to pickup the gift at the JLI booth in the Brooklyn Marriott throughout the Thursday of the Kinus.
This initiative is part of an ongoing effort of the Rosh Chodesh Society to incorporate every Shlucha in their growing program. RCS recently launched a new course, Simple Truths: Pivotal Insights for Centered Living in over 200 communities, commemorating 40 years since the Rebbe’s institution of the 12 pesukim.
It is NEVER too late to join the Rosh Chodesh Society. Please contact http://www.roshchodeshsociety.com or Mrs. Jacobson directly at [email protected] / 718-221-6900 x 117
Being on shlichus for over 10 years, I finally joined the RCS family. Best thing I did. Always had legit excuses for not giving regular classes, but once I took the plunge my focus to connect with the women in my town has completely changed – for the better. A lady we’re close with for most of our time here sent me this comment following my first class: “Tonight I saw a new side to you that’s been hidden for too long. You are an excellent teacher with so much knowledge. We need to offer more of what we had… Read more »
The Rosh Chodesh Society would like to give a public heartfelt yasher koach to our incredibly gracious, benevolent, and generous sponsors, the Gniwisch/Gansbourg families. You are much more than sponsors. You believe in us in a way that only family can. May Hashem continue to bless you with the fulfillment of all your hearts’ desires. V’harikosi lochem bracha ad bli dai.
Is it too late to join for this year? I’m interested in the 12 pesukim course.
Thank you col for posting this and giving me an opportunity to publicly thank the Rosh Chodesh Society, JLI, and Mrs. Jacobson.
I’ve very recently joined the RCS family of shluchas and just taught my first class from the new course. It was outstanding! I’m so happy I decided to do this. The women can’t wait for the next class.
RCS thinks of everything. Not only about every lesson which goes without saying but about every shlucha as a human being far from home and family.
Shaindy Jacobson is an amazing woman! She cares about every Shlucha in a real way, always thinking how she can make the lives of the Rebbe’s Shluchos easier. The Rosh Chodesh Society has made a huge difference in my Shlichus and in my life. Thank you Shaindy and JLI for making us feel so thought about and well cared for. We’re better teachers, wives, and mothers tahnks to you.
