Sunday of Chol Hamoed Sukkos, Jewish families with children in Barranquilla, Colombia came together for a day of joy and unity at a special event organized by Rabbi Shaya and Kraindy Liberow.
The event was designed to create a fun-filled atmosphere for families with children, providing a memorable day of festivities that captured the spirit of Sukkos.
Held under the warm Colombian sun, the celebration featured a delicious full lunch, served in the air-conditioned sukkah. Families enjoyed a variety of traditional and tasty dishes, bringing everyone together in the mitzvah of eating in the sukkah.
The day was packed with activities for kids of all ages, including jumping castles and lively music. Children also indulged in sweet, kosher snow cones, adding a refreshing treat to the holiday experience.
One of the highlights of the event was the opportunity for everyone to make a bracha on the lulav and esrog. Additionally, kids were thrilled to take rides on the Sukkah Motorcycle Mobile, spreading the message of Succos throughout the community in a fun and engaging way.
