JewKlub, a group for Jewish boys ages of 14-19, are taking to the streets of London, England, adding Jewish music and Happy Chanukah wishes to the regular hum of the city.
Two loudspeakers are placed on a truck carrying a large inflatable Menorah, donated by Mendy Levy of Optima Construction.
The club, run by Rabbi Avremel Groner and Menachem Weinstein, had the boys wearing their Jewklub t-shirts and dancing and singing “with a purim feel to it.”
The boys set up a checkpoint-style donation area, collecting money from passing drivers for Jewklub.
Among the neighborhoods they visited were Hendon, Golders Green and Stamford Hill, gaining cheers and hoots from cars (and donations too).
On Wednesday they held a Chanuka party in the Lubavitch House in Stamford Hill, hosted by Head Shliach Rabbi Nachman and Fradel Sudak.
