A perpetrator was arrested after he randomly attacked a Chassidic Jewish man in the Crown Heights neighborhood on Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred near Crown Street and Troy Avenue at approximately 4:30 PM when the attacker punched the Jewish man in the face, knocking his hat off.
Shmira volunteer patrol was immediately notified and together with the NYPD they were able to apprehend the suspect and place him under arrest.
The victim is doing fine, a representative of Shmira told COLlive.com.

Black lives matter, but not jewish lives.
this isn’t a competition.

a) that wasn’t “punched in the face” that was “knocked his hat off”
b) I’m happy to see that to an extent the bochur defended himself and stood his ground. Kudos to this brave young man!
