The vision is big and energy high in Jewish Girls Unite as the organization goes live TODAY with a quadruple-match campaign, August 4-6 to raise $80K to launch THE CONNECTION PROJECT.
After witnessing the loving, supportive, global JGU community and its transformational impact on girls for decades, women are saying, ‘We want this, too!’
In response, The Connection Project aims to expand JGU to women of all ages and backgrounds and address the persisting anxiety, loneliness and disconnect many are feeling.
The following new initiative will nurture spiritual and emotional wellbeing through empowering mothers, grandmothers, educators and leaders to connect with their core, community, and Creator:
G.R.O.W. PRAYER RESOURCES: Help us develop creative and enriching resources to inspire prayer and a love for Judaism.
G.R.O.W. CONNECTION CIRCLES & HELP HOTLINE: Help give women a new way of growing a connection with their Creator in a safe space with other women and one on one support.
G.R.O.W. WORKSHOPS FOR EDUCATORS: Support and inspire educators worldwide through training workshops and collaborations.
G.R.O.W. CIRCLES: Help Connect generations through thoughtful and meaningful activities.
G.R.O.W. RETREATS FOR WOMEN: Support Retreat scholarships for women to experience inspiration, healing, friendship, and a celebration of their Divine gifts.
G.R.O.W. WORKSHOPS FOR GIRLS OF ALL AGES at JGU school, camp, clubs, and Jewish Girls Retreats (JGR) year-round. Help support scholarships and programming for girls.
Become a partner today to QUADRUPLE YOUR IMPACT and help women grow meaningful connections with their core, community, and Creator with a global and generational impact!
Since 2014, Jewish Girls Unite has been at the forefront of empowering Jewish women and girls worldwide to celebrate their Judaism, participate in a loving community, and utilize their gifts to become leaders.
An outgrowth of the popular Jewish Girls Retreat, founded in 2000 by Rabbi Avraham and Nechama Laber in partnership with Leah Caras of Yaldah Magazine, today’s global online community utilizes creative approaches in education and technology to offer such programs as virtual Judaic classes, Creative Online Camp, extracurricular and Bat Mitzvah clubs, leadership development, coaching, women’s classes, in-person retreats, publishing services, and more.
Eight successful weeks of Creative Online Camp in summer 2020 catalyzed the JGU Virtual Community with expanded social and educational programs. The Connection Project now aims to foster meaningful connections through new initiatives addressing the spiritual and emotional growth of women, educators, girls, and families.
Currently, JGU is in the midst of running both the Jewish Girls Retreat in Upstate New York and Creative Online Camp on the virtual front. Campers are diving deeper into the meaning of daily Jewish prayers through discussion, journaling, creative arts, adventure, nature, and more!
