The Jewish Children’s Museum, the landmark institution in Crown Heights, will celebrate its 19th annual Gala Dinner – “Celebrating Dreams,” on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
Guests of Honor include Rabbi Yossi Spalter and survivors of the Brooklyn Bridge shooting, who will receive the Ari Halberstam Memorial Award, Francine Spilke-Epstein and David Spilke obm, who will receive the Founders Award, NBA All-Star Amar’e Stoudemire – Yehoshafat Ben Avraham, who is the Guest of Honor, Nati Abikasis and Mendy Mere of Mendy’s Restaurant who will receive the Community Leadership Award and Dermot F. Shea, President, Related Commercial Property Management, who will receive the NYC Leadership Award. Gala Chairs are Joseph and Penina Popack.
The annual gala welcomes community leaders, elected officials, members of law enforcement, and Museum supporters for an evening in support of the museum which welcomes thousands of visitors throughout the year, teaching people of all ages, backgrounds and faiths about the Jewish culture and heritage.
The event will begin at 5:30 pm and will take place at the Museum, 792 Eastern Pkwy, Brooklyn, NY 11213.
Couvert $600/person, Black Tie Optional.
