Since the beginning of the year, Dovid Taub has been creating a weekly video series called The Parshah Rabbit Hole, in which he finds something strange in the Parshah and follows one Torah source to the next, discovering a winding path of fun and exciting ideas in Torah that many people have never heard before.
Now he’s offering a 4-week, online course called “DIY Rabbit Hole,” which begins next week. Topics which will be covered in the course include how to use online tools as well as physical seforim to explore and curate sources, dealing with language barriers and exploring various ways of sharing your “Rabbit Hole.” Throughout the course Taub will guide participants through each step of “digging” their own “Rabbit Holes”, with the option to publish their final creation at CreativeJudaism.com.
“People who haven’t seen the Rabbit Hole yet might be wondering why the puppet guy is teaching people how to learn Torah,” Taub Says. “But every Itche Kadoozy Show episode or Mitzventions and everything else started with research. You can’t share Torah unless you learn it first. But the learning part can be as fun and creative as making art.”
The 4-week online course, which will take place virtually on Zoom, is offered in separate tracks for men and women. The women’s track will be held weekly on Sunday evenings, May 19-June 9. The men’s track will be held weekly on Monday evenings, May 20th-June 10. Both tracks will take place 8:30-9:30 PM ET on their respective dates.
In addition to the four online classes, the course also includes a one-on-one Zoom meeting with Taub for each participant to brainstorm ideas, share discoveries, and answer questions.
Upon completion, participants will receive their official Rabbit-cal certificate. “I’m currently still in the process of seeking the haskamos of the world’s most prominent rabbits,” Taub says.
The cost of the entire package is only $100 per person. Registration is now open, but slots are limited.

Can we get a preview of a class to know what this course is?
Thanks
I’ll try to record a little preview after I finish this week’s Rabbit Hole tonight.
And even more toichen.
Thank you! The toichen IS the fun! Since I started doing the Rabbit Hole at the beginning of the year I’ve discovered SO many fun things in Torah that I never knew about before. And every time that happens it just makes me excited to learn even more!
if they would learn like this in yeshiva our kids would have a whole different love of Torah
Thank you! The class is open to older teens too! Hopefully they can take what they learn back with them to Yeshiva.
I’ve been watching every episode till now, definitely a talent. To learn that talent I think is fun and useful.
This is awesome
The rabbit holes are very interesting
I wonder who will give haskamos 😅
I asked a few prominent rabbits, but they hopped away.
Loving this project and excited to see more people able to learn / teach this way
Literally always wanted to become an auto corrected Rabbi.
