Jared Kushner, Senior Advisor and son-in-law of President Donald Trump, paid a visit to the Western Wall in Jerusalem on Monday.
Kushner came with Mr. Avi Berkowitz, Deputy Assistant to the President, and US Ambassador to Israel Mr. David Friedman, to pray at the Western Wall during his visit to Israel.
They were greeted by the rabbi of the Western Wall, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, and by the director of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, Mr. Mordechai (Suli) Eliav.
Kushner also met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem on Monday.
U.S. Special Representative for Iran Brian Hook, Ambassador David Friedman, Deputy Assistant to the President Avi Berkowitz, Israeli National Security Advisor Meir Ben Shabbat and Israel’s Ambassador to the U.S. Ron Dermer also took part in the meeting.
Also on Monday, Mr. Steven T. Mnuchin, United States Secretary of Treasury, came with an American delegation to pray at the Western Wall during his visit to Israel.
