This Tisha B’Av, a new documentary is being released called Homeless, produced by Meaningful People’s Nachi Gordon.
It’s not a history lesson. It’s not a fundraiser. It’s not another lecture about what the Beis HaMikdash might have looked like. It’s something else entirely.
It’s a film that gets under your skin. That reminds you we’re still not home.
And it’s made for this generation — the one that stopped crying.
During the filming process, I make a stop in Crown Heights. I speak with people who carry this message deep in their bones. People who grew up hearing the Rebbe cry out Ad masai and took it seriously. This isn’t a film “about Chabad,” but it might hit Chabad chassidim the hardest. Because we’re the ones who were raised to believe Geulah isn’t just a dream — it’s a mission.
We’ve built homes. Built stability. Built comfort.
But somewhere in that comfort, we stopped asking the question that matters most.
“Homeless isn’t trying to make people sad. It’s trying to wake something up. That quiet voice inside each of us that still wants to come home. That still believes in what the Rebbe said — that this is the generation that can bring Moshiach,” says Nachi Gordon.
The film is available to watch now at www.9av.plus.
It can be purchased with Maaser.
“If you’ve ever watched anything I’ve helped create — let this be the one. Don’t let Tisha B’Av come and go without feeling something real,” says Gordon.
The Jew Haters have not allowed us to forget.
Unfortunately with all the antisemitism it’s impossible to forget.
Ask any Jew post Oct 7′, everyone feels the Galus
When youre stressed over high rent and tution and cant afford a vacation home and a car….
Seems like this person just needs money to solve all those problems….
You’re actually the perfect example of why this video has to be made
I suggest you watch the video to learn why you need specifically moshiach
Most of us arent living and even striving for luxurious lifestyles and want moshiach, and are not enjoying galus to the point that we cant pay rent and tuition.
The video is out touch with most people in case you missed the point
Start the ingathering of the exiled – kibbutz galuot. Make aliya…move to Eretz Yisrael. It’s still galus, but it’s one step closer.
It’s free if you go with the clouds that H’ will take everyone in
I don’t believe moving to Israel was ever on the list of things to do to bring ourselves closer to moshiach “It is only on our part to do something additional, in the realm of goodness and kindness” is what the rebbe said is needed to bring moshiach And if you think “the yidden” are doing so much chesed already, then you’re not listening to what the rebbe kept saying about bringing moshiach, which was that everyone individually must do their part, “you, you and you….” Here’s not the place to look at the yidden as a whole. look rather… Read more »
It is impossible to hurry the Geula through moving to Eretz Yisroel. On the contrary: the Rebbe often emphasized that this attitude *distances* the Geula, G-d forbid.
Ingathering of Exiles can only begin after Moshiach builds the Temple, and any “step” that happens before that has nothing to do with the Geula.
The only way to bring Moshiach is through adding in Torah and mitzvos, and especially through putting great focus on Moshiach matters in Yiddishkeit.

There is so much pain, that I find it hard to believe that there are people who are chas v’sholom comfortable with golus. Just because someone might have wealth, I guarantee you they feel the prick in other areas. I have never met anyone who is pain free
O believe it or not but October 7 impact didn’t last forever for many living far from Israel, (other than that they check Israel news here and there and post their option on what they think Israel should do next)
Now although these people may have things which upset them, they’re stuck in golus mindset like most of us that think our biggest problem is the problem at hand and I just need to get rid of this problem right in front of me and my life we’ll be good
I remember the rebbe in fabrengen speaking with such pain of people not wanting to leave the galus. He spoke of them with their fancy homes and fancy cars prefering not to leave galus with moshiach
Maybe mamdani is to wake people up that this is galus not our true home.
Mamdami is a wake up call that moshiach is not far away
May Hashem make that Mamdani will not win!
With the help of Hashem, may we just have Moshiach NOW!

The person who wrote about that we have to work on ourselves and not look at others really hit the nail on the heads. The Rebbe never once said that moving to Eretz Yisroel will help bring Moshiach closer. The only thing that the Rebbe stressed to improve our conduct between each other and the One above. Everything else is commentary.
