One lucky boy or girl will be watching The Great Lag B’Omer parade from the best spot ever – directly above the excitement at 770 Eastern Parkway, from a helicopter.
The exciting chopper ride is the grand prize that will be given to the winner of iParade, the Lag B’Omer 5771 kids competition from Tzivos Hashem.
On May 22, 2011 the grand parade of Jewish unity will take place in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, in honor of the holiday of Lag B’Omer.
As a preparation kids are invited to join the fun, by submitting either a photo of their original poster they designed and will be holding at The Great Parade, or a poster promoting the Great Parade.
The winners will be chosen by vote, as the public will vote for their favorites. Besides the grand prize winner, 10 runner ups will win a Jewish book.
Suggested subjects for the posters include:
1. A cool slogan promoting The Great Parade
2. A poster sign promoting a favorite Mitzvah: Shabbos, Mezuza, learning, Ahavas Yisroel etc.
3. What will the world be like when Moshiach comes?
Be creative, use your imagination and utilize your skills to help out this great demonstration of Torah and Mitzvos instituted by the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
